Week Two

Week Two:

My second week at Voodoo picked up in work as they realized my capacity in graphic design. At first, I was given previous briefs, memos and debrief forms to see how I would be able to handle the work in a certain amount of time. I took on two clients, Orange and ‘Banque Atlantique’. These clients are really well known in French countries.

The first client ,‘Orange’, is one of the largest operators of mobile and internet services in Europe and Africa and a global leader in corporate telecommunication services. Orange who often works with this company, consulted the Voodoo Group in hopes to create a visually interesting commercial. This commercial was to communicate to the consumers a way for them to be able to receive fast cash transferred immediately to their phone. This design needed to illustrate instructions on how to do that within a taxi. Here was my finish work:

The second client that I worked with was Banque Atlantique. Banque Atlantique is a West African financial services in collection of 7 western countries in Africa. This company wanted a design that would appeal to their audience that are ready for retirement. The design was to illustrate an individual that represents the consumer in an environment that is homey. The objective of this commercial is create a visual that would influence the audience to use ‘Banque Atlantique’.

Working on these projects was very challenging due to the time span given and also having to do extra research on the company before working on their designs. However, the work flow became more effortless and simple. But from challenging to effortless came hard work. The projects required advanced knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. Fortunately, I have some knowledge on those softwares. However, I did have to ask a lot of questions, but with that came process.
