Week Three

Week three got really hectic. Just when i thought that i had everything figured out, things got challenging. This week my assignment was to work on two different memos and of course in a certain amount of time. The assignments are all very different. The memo assignments was on the company CIE 179 and Sainte Marie.

Cie 179 is the call number in the department in charge of troubleshooting CIE 24/7.  This department is part of the company CIE. CIE is the Ivorian Electricity Company (CIE) that exports , import , distribution and marketing of electric power throughout the territory of Côte d'Ivoire and West Africa. However, the department is fairly new and the client has reached out to Voodoo Communication is hopes to create a visually interesting campaign for social media use so that it may get more public recognition. The memo required that create a humorous advertisement content that would attract their target audience. Here is what I came up with:

There was many debriefs that came along with this assignments. The clients had several specifics on how they wanted it to be presented. With the help of professional graphic designers. They showed me how to re-adjust the imagery.

The second assignment I received was dealing with a High School. St. Mary High School in Abidjan is a school of excellence established in 1962 in Abidjan Cocody by the Ivorian government , and entrusted to the apostolic community Saint-François- Xavier. They as well are a client of Voodoo group for a while now. In Fact the communication firm, have created their school logo. The High School reached out to the communication firm concerning a special event for an end of school year diploma ceremony. The deadline for that assignment was four hours, not to mention also that my first assignment above was due that same day. I was to create at least 3 propositions for the client. Here is my finished work:

Time management is very important working on a design team. That is one thing I was continuing to learn as an intern in that field. I had to ask a lot of questions to be able to accomplish the assignments that I did that week. Nevertheless, I did receive some good feedback on my visuals. So I guess it all payed off!
